online testing instructions

These instructions are only for those who have fully complied/completed their asftp online food manager or haccp online certification course. and you are ready to take your exam and receive your certification.

for food manager exam, you can go with prometric or national registry, or Servsafe, whichever one has a more convenient test center for you. if you are taking the haccp test, you must use national registry only, Prometric does not offer haccp online.

note: food handler (ca food card, San DIego Food Card and or other states), All other states food card, allergen, and alcohol, all have their exams incorporated with the course, and do NOT need to be proctored. you can print your ca food card, san diego food card, allergen and alcohol certifications when you comply and complete your course and pass your test!

Congratulations! you have completed your ASFTP online course, and are now ready to take your Food Protection Manager License/Certification Exam. The Exam consists of 80 questions, and you need 75% to pass. Once you pass, your certificate will be mailed directly to you, and your certification status will be valid for 5 years. You must recertify every five years. (Every 5 years review your study material and take your online course to keep up to date with any FDA food code changes, which will always be in our online Food Protection Manager courses, we always keep our courses current and updated to assist new and returning examinees.)

The HACCP exam consists of 150 questions, and you must get 75% in order to pass. As per time to be sent out to you via mail, the times as per food managers, also applies with your HACCP certification.
