ASFTP Ohio Online Program provides food protection / management training and facilitates access to the official certification exam.

State Requirements: One person on staff who is certified.
Food Protection Manager: Required.
Food Handlers: Recommended but not required.
Exceptions: County requirements - contact your local health department.
Manager Training Hours: Ohio Department of Health requires 15 hours of training offered by a course provider that has been approved by the Ohio Department of Health.
Food Handler Course: Specific training regulations, please contact your local health department.
Food Manager Certification and Food Handler Certificate Renewal: Food Manager every 5 years; Food Handler every 2 years.

ASFTP online Food Handler Training course is approved for use in all other cities and counties in the State of Arizona, including Maricopa County. The course and examination take approximately 2 hours to complete and, on successful completion of the course, provides the trainee with a downloadable certificate and handler card. The certificate is provided for the establishment and the card is for the employee. This course uses state-of-the-art programming and can to be used on all computers, tablets and smartphones, without the need for any other downloads.
